Privacy Policy (Interim)

1. What we keep

For a parent account we keep the name, email address, country, optional mobile number, the device type used at sign-up, a hashed password, and the time the parent agreed to the Terms and this Privacy Policy. For each child we keep the first name, optional age, avatar, PIN (stored hashed, if one is set) and learning progress: lessons, stars and streaks. For paid access we keep the order and payment records and the receipts generated from them.

We keep parent account and children's progress until the account is deleted, plus 30 days. Payment and receipt records are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax law requires. Our website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd..

2. Trackers

Logged-in parent and child pages do not load analytics or advertising trackers. The one exception is a Google Ads sign-up conversion tag, which runs once on the first parent page after registration and tells Google that an ad led to a sign-up. Public pages use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement and the Meta Pixel only if you click Accept on our cookie banner. You can change your choice any time via Cookie settings in the footer. When a visitor arrives from a Google ad, the ad click ID (gclid) is kept in the session. If that visitor later buys, our server reports the purchase to Google Ads with the click ID, order ID, amount, currency and time of purchase. No name, email or child information is sent.

3. Top Kids leaderboard

Top Kids leaderboard: children from all TaraKids families are ranked by stars. The leaderboard shows only your child's first name, star count and rank, and only signed-in parents can see it. It is not public. If you have a concern, write to support@taralearn.com. After each exam, children who took it see a results board with first names, scores and ranks.

4. Asking us to delete your data

Email support@taralearn.com from your account email address. A person on our team reviews every request. Nothing is deleted automatically when you send one.

5. Refunds

Payment refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
